Join us for the First Friday Art Walk in December. We are featuring paintings by our guest artist, Jean Stryker of Lincoln. This is what she says about her art:

Creating a painting is a meditative process for me. Each work begins with an idea that is refined through a lengthy process of pondering, experimentation, prayer, and sketching. The actual finished piece is usually created in one or two quick sessions. I believe that beauty is essential for human thriving, so I strive to create lovely artworks, even if the central concept is painful or dark. One concept that intrigues me lately is negative space, or what lies between the lines. Just as the mundane spaces between events are where we live our truest life, the spaces between lines in a design may be where the important action takes place.

dklStudios will be featuring new handcrafted jewelry, pottery and cave art based on historical artifacts.

Kolleen Meyer-Krikac will have new nature photography pieces (canvases, prints, greeting cards and calendars).
